Every president of a local unit PTA receives:
• A subscription of
the Oregon PTA Bulletin (published several times per year).
Oregon PTA Bulletin is also available on the website under
Resources.
• An Oregon PTA Handbook, which serves as a guide
to local units in determining duties of officers and committees,
preparing budgets, conducting PTA activities and projects,
understanding parliamentary procedure, and many other helpful
tools to make your PTA run smoothly. (A copy is available
under Resources)
• Information on upcoming events such as leadership
training opportunities, legislative updates, conferences
and conventions.
• The opportunity to participate in the Annual
State Leadership Conference and Convention, held each
April for the purpose of approving the work of the Association
for the upcoming year, elect new officers and take advantage
of workshop opportunities.
