Oregon PTA Resolutions are official
documents outlining the opinion, will, or intent of the
association to address statewide problems, situations, or
concerns that affect children and youth and require statewide
action to seek resolution on the issue. Oregon PTA has adopted
dozens of resolutions on a wide variety of statewide education,
health, and safety issues since its chartering in 1905.
Our grassroots membership
gives resolutions their start. Each Oregon PTA unit is encouraged
to submit draft resolutions on topics it believes deserve
particular attention by the organization at large. Submit
drafts to the Oregon PTA Resolutions Committee no later
than December 31 each year for consideration by the Resolutions
Committee and possible presentation at the annual Oregon
PTA Convention.
