Hello!
I'm really excited about being the Region Director for Portland. Last year, I was on the Portland PTA Council as the VP for the Wilson Cluster and now, I'll be working with all of the PTA's in Portland. How cool is that?!
I have a daughter, Jackie who just graduated from Wilson High School and I have a son, Michael who is moving up from Markham Elementary to Jackson Middle School. It is a big year of transitions - for the kids and mom alike! Fortunately, my husband, Doug is supportive and is taking all of our transitions in stride.
I look forward to hearing from you and what's going on in your school this year. As I learn more about national and statewide children's issues, I plan to pass them on to you. Please share with me your concerns and interests as well. We are stronger and wiser when working together.
